Scientifically it is to do with a chemical imbalance, which they have when they're born, which attracts them to certain pheromones being of the same sex (I won't say gender as humans have made gender).
But on a less scientific note, I would still also say no, being bisexual myself, I couldn't change into a heterosexual. I have always had crushes on males and females long before I can remember. Besides, I wouldn't wanna change myself ever <3
So I'd say, people are born that way, and they should be accepted as they're still human.
Many people seem to think it is a choice when actually, we have no control over our sexuality. The only thing we can do is either deny or accept it.
Yeah, that's very true. There's no legitimate reason why anyone would willingly choose it. And then there's the logical argument that if it's 'such a choice' then why don't 'straight people' just go ahead and choose to be 'gay' for a little while, and then just choose to be 'straight' again later? Oh wait... They don't because they can't. =w= That should be enough to prove that it's not a choice.
Wow, that's cool because I'm actually Pansexual too. c: And I didn't choose to be, I just am. It's not like it's always a fun thing. There will always be people who can't wrap their tiny minds around the fact that someone is different from them. Sorry you were having such a tough time with it.
