Scientifically it is to do with a chemical imbalance, which they have when they're born, which attracts them to certain pheromones being of the same sex (I won't say gender as humans have made gender).

But on a less scientific note,
I would still also say no, being bisexual myself, I couldn't change into a heterosexual. I have always had crushes on males and females long before I can remember. Besides, I wouldn't wanna change myself ever <3

So I'd say, people are born that way, and they should be accepted as they're still human.

Many people seem to think it is a choice when actually, we have no control over our sexuality. The only thing we can do is either deny or accept it.

I don't think it is... Just a preference really. It's no more of a choice than what your favorite color is, or what kind of ice cream you like... You just like what you like. c:

in my opinion, i also say no
my reasoning is that people tend to get bullied/harassed for being LGBT so why would they choose to be bullied/harassed ?

and i totally agree with the whole you like what you like thing!!

my friend, she told me earlier that its a choice, and it pissed me off to bad, because im pansexual, and trust me, i wouldnt choose to be like this (not to be rude i just get tormented a lot)

Yeah, that's very true. There's no legitimate reason why anyone would willingly choose it. And then there's the logical argument that if it's 'such a choice' then why don't 'straight people' just go ahead and choose to be 'gay' for a little while, and then just choose to be 'straight' again later? Oh wait... They don't because they can't. =w= That should be enough to prove that it's not a choice.

Wow, that's cool because I'm actually Pansexual too. c: And I didn't choose to be, I just am. It's not like it's always a fun thing. There will always be people who can't wrap their tiny minds around the fact that someone is different from them. Sorry you were having such a tough time with it. :huggle:
